A Bridge over Troubled Waters
Simon and Garfunkel

On this Saturday, the two world-renowned trauma experts want to offer all those present the opportunity to move through the collective states of grief together that are deeply embedded in our societies. It will become a shared place of healing from the incredible impact of current catastrophic events: global violence, the rise of authoritarianism, the destruction of infrastructure and climate eruptions.

This gathering is intended to make room for collective grief and to restore a supportive resilience in the innermost core, which in turn makes more vitality possible again – and perhaps even joy. Basically, it is about witnessing what is and how we are responding to it - without becoming overwhelmed.

“Don't fall into despair, hopelessness and resignation.”

It is also about recognizing together that there are things and events that we cannot change. At the same time, it is important not to fall into an attitude of despair, hopelessness and resignation in such situations. On this Saturday at the end of August, the two course leaders will present grounded as well as well-embodied behaviors that we can cultivate as individuals, as groups or in communities – to move forward in a coherent and meaningful way.

“It's about consciously coming together with yourself and others.”

This one-day seminar is not dedicated to ideological arguments or possible partisan positions. Rather, it is intended to be a safe place for the healing of collective grief and to invite the rediscovery of joyful feelings through consciously coming together within oneself and in the collective of those present. Peter A. Levine and Thomas Hübl are looking forward to meeting many people who want to dedicate themselves to heart-opening explorations with them.

Seats are limited – consider registering early

A part of the proceeds will go to an organization dedicated to the care and healing of children in war zones and to helping communities rebuild their infrastructure after war or natural disasters. As space in the rented church is limited, it is worth registering early.
