Each of these Polarity days will focus on essential skills with the intention of refining, deepening, and elevating the abilities and techniques learned in class to the levels needed to succeed in practice. These will include sessions built around a variety of Polarity routines, their underlying charts and principles, in order to build confidence and competence.
In these two days we will cover a range of different skills, as well as respond specifically to student interests and needs.
These can include, depending on student input:
- The skills of presence and contact
- Tracking skills as clients change during a session.
- Relational skills – styles of listening and verbal communication.
- Perceptual skills and identifying important energetic and somatic markers during treatment.
- Skills of client profiling, treatment planning and management.
- Technical skills in applying specific procedures and refined use of gunas.
- Process-oriented skills, including working at the limit or edge of a client´s capacity.

Jim Feil, MA, DC, RPP, RCST has been in the field of complementary health care since 1970. He began his career in the healing arts by studying with Dr. Randolph Stone, founder of Polarity Therapy, from 1970 to 1973.
