Ash Dargan

Ash Dargan is a Larrakia man from Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia. He is one of Australia’s most celebrated Yidaki (Didgeridoo) recording artists with multiple artistic nominations for releases over the decades. As a cultural ambassador he has presented on stages globally reaching a wide audience. He is an Elder Facilitator with We Al-li and studied under Prof. Judy Atkinson whilst gaining his Maters of Indigenous Studies following her work in community based recovery from the effects of generational trauma. He has developed leading culturally informed and trauma integrated resources in both mobile app, print and VR technologies and currently serves as a Chief Investigator with the University of New South Wales pioneering culturally led and informed Virtual Reality healing experiences.
