Ankie Kühne is a Somatic Experiencing® (SE) Senior Assistant, SOMA Teacher, and trauma-oriented practitioner with over four decades of experience in embodied education. She has run her own therapy practice for 26 years and works as a trainer of somatic practitioners. Rooted in movement education, her path evolved toward trauma work through SOMATIC EXPERIENCING, begun in 2009 with Dr. Sônia Gomes. As a student and later assistant, she trained for 15 years alongside Gomes, Dr. Laurence Heller, and Doris Rotbauer. In 2013, she completed the NARM training developed by Heller, then assisted him in the Netherlands for 8 years.

Within SOMA Embodiment®, Ankie deepens her work in embodied transmission and presence-based teaching, focused on inner practice, energetic coherence, and relational attunement.
